Here at Bayside High School, we believe ALL students deserve the opportunity to participate in our musical ensembles. Becoming a musician will teach students the life skills of teamwork, dedication, artistry, and much more.

A PRISM Concert, named for the prism which reveals the varied colors of light, presents the many facets of musical experience in as pure a form as possible. A continuous flow of music is performed without interruption in various areas of the theater.

This interactive concert will have soloists, duets, quartets, and full ensembles presenting musical selections throughout the evening. This special presentation allows the audience to encounter each group on different levels and in differing moods.

This winter, we are showcasing the talents of Bayside’s Bands, Orchestras, Guitar Ensemble, and Color Guard.

We received a total of 35 very high quality auditions. It was a challenge to narrow it down to just the 14 above. Thank you to everyone who submitted an act!

Please take a moment NOW to look for any conflicts that need to be corrected. NOTE THE LOCATION AND THE AMOUNT OF ACTS BETWEEN EVERYTHING YOU ARE INVOLVED IN! If there are any conflicts, please email me.

It is strongly advised that you continue to rehearse regularly leading up to PRISM rehearsals beginning the first week after thanksgiving break. For the PRISM rehearsals, be prepared with all required equipment, music, props, etc. We reserve the right to cut acts if they are no longer to the quality expected.
